Why Binary Bit LAN? you may ask...

Binary Bit LAN is where all the 1's and 0's go; its a joke for Computer Programmers and Electronic Engineers; I was both so this joke only seemed appropriate for my Cooperate name. Most of you know that a Binary Bit is a Digit and in a state of 1 or 0, this is the basic idea of how Digital works. When you have 8-bits you have a Byte; and if the Computer takes a Byte it eats it; and it goes to Binary Bit LAN.

We believe that programming is a religion, at least we program religiously; not to offend any religions; but in Binary Bit LAN's Cyber-space environment; the Programming Code is our sacred text; and for it to be able to come alive or awaken, God or the Machine must bless it; thus what God is to us is what the Machine is to the Program. The CPU much like our brain; will run this Code to guild its life; so it fits the very definition above. Programming is a religious experience to us, to bring to life an experience of this magnitude you must fully embrace the Zen Programming philosophy.

Why the Penguin? You may ask...

The Penguin is the Linux Logo. Although Joomla and all our programs will run on Windows, MAC or other operations systems (OS) just as well as it will run under Linux which is also Open Source like Joomla; here at Binary Bit LAN; we try to show our support for the OS we run under.
 

Why is Binary Bit LAN Commerical software you have to pay for?

Simple; we have to pay bills and eat; we don't have other 9 to 5 jobs and if we did we couldn't spend the time to make quality software like this.

We have been writting software for over 30 years now; if we can't make a living out of it then we need to find another hobby; like horse back riding or riding my dune buggy around my ranch.
